MEET THE COACH

Founder & Head Performance Coach – Anthony De Hoyos, MS, ATC

For over a decade, Anthony De Hoyos, MS, ATC, has helped athletes move better, perform stronger, and recover faster. As a certified Athletic Trainer and Human Performance Specialist, he’s coached athletes at every level—from college programs and professional teams to action-sport athletes competing on the world stage.

Anthony holds a bachelor’s in athletic training and a master’s degree in Sports Performance, along with advanced certifications in Functional Range Systems (FRS) Internal Strength Model, Gary Gray’s Applied Functional Science (CAFS), NASM’s Corrective Exercise Specialist (CES), and ELDOA spinal mobility. He’s also HawkGrips Level 1 certified in instrument-assisted soft tissue therapy and certified in KAATSU blood flow restriction.

His career has taken him from the sidelines of Mesa College Football, UC San Diego Rugby, and Club Soccer, and to professional arenas with the Seattle Seahawks. He currently provides on-site care and performance support for Supercross and X Games athletes through the Alpinestars Mobile Medical Unit and Medicine in Motion.

As a lifelong motocross and mountain bike rider, Anthony knows the strength, endurance, and precision these sports demand. That connection inspired him to create ASCYN Performance — a platform that delivers elite-level training and recovery to the riders who need it most.

Anthony’s training philosophy is simple: move better to perform better. He focuses on multiplanar movements, neural connections, and tissue-specific adaptations—developing strength that’s functional, dynamic, and built to last. By combining sports medicine, corrective exercise, and performance conditioning, he bridges the gap between injury prevention and peak athletic output.

ASCYN Performance exists to elevate how action-sport athletes train — blending science, purpose, and passion into every session.

“Life is like riding a bicycle. To keep your balance, you must keep moving.” — Albert Einstein

“PERFORMANCE TRAINING IN ACTION SPORTS IS STILL EVOLVING. I WANT RIDERS TO HAVE ACCESS TO THE SAME LEVEL OF PRECISION AND PURPOSE AS TRADITIONAL ATHLETES."
